A winter expedition to the Gobi desert and surrounding mountains.
€900
We drove past the Gurvan Saikhan Mountains, on the edge of the Gobi desert, getting stuck in snow. It was February and John had agreed to join me. We were in an old beaten up Russian truck, called a UAZ. We got stuck and the driver offered us a snack of camel tongue and vodka. We reached Yolyn Am, the Lammergeier Valley, and walked along the frozen river.
